Prosvent Review
Prosvent is a vitamin supplement designed to help with problems related to an inflammed prostate. The primary star of the Prosvent infomercial is a physcian by the name of Dr Larry May.
After watching the infomercial several times I have concluded that the infomercial should be put in the category of "beneficial to the general public". It teaches the average consumer about problems related to aging and the prostate. I am of the belief that much of the information presented is accurate and the product probably would be effective for many people. Furthermore the infomercial responsibly recommends seeing your physcian first if you're experiencing problems of frequent urination etc. so that you can first be cleared medically for prostate cancer. (Don't get too alarmed prostate problems are common as men age and usually it is not related to cancer). This is accomplished very easily by getting a simple blood test known as a "PSA".
One problem I have with the infomerical is the product itself. It lacks many ingredients that are often helpful for prostate problems. The second problem, in my opinion, is that Prosvent is ridiculously overpriced for the few ingredients actually in it. I don't have a problem with the claims made regarding the product. I personally know of people who have been helped to a great extent with similar type products with similar ingredients. Prosvent will cost you about $40 a month on an ongoing basis. You will benefit from the product only as long as you keep taking it. If you stop, within a few weeks the symptoms of prostate problems will return. Before you even give a product like Prosvent a try you should first consider the long term expense. Since Prosvent lacks many of the ingredients that are helpful for Prostate problems. It may not be effective for you. This could cause you to abandon the whole idea when there are products on the market that contain more ingredients that can help. Furthermore, many of these products will actually cost you less than Prosvent.
Prosvent contains the following ingredients and costs approximately $40 for a one month supply:
Saw Palmetto Extract
Nettle Root Extract
Vitamin E
Zinc
Selenium
Pumpkin Seed Oil
Lycopene
I spent some time surfing the net and found a different product that basically has many more active ingredients and also costs less ($29.95 a month). It has the following ingredients:
Saw Palmetto
Nettle Leaf
Vitamin E
Zinc
Selenium
Pumpkin Seed
Beta-Carotene
Vitamin A
Vitamin D-3
Vitamin C
Vitamin B-1
Vitamin B-2
Niacin
Niacinamide
Pantothenic Acid
Bitamin B-6
Vitamin B-12
Folic Acid
Biotin
Choline
Citrus Bioflavonoid Complex
PABA
Calcium
Magnesium
Potassium
Copper
Manganese
Chromium GTF
Molybdenum
Vandium
Boron
Trace Elements
Pygeum
Lemon Bioflavanoids
Alfalfa
Buchu
L-Alanine
L-Glutamic Acid
Parsley
Uva-Ursi
The point I'm making is that you should try a product with the highest probability of helping you with the added bonus being cheaper! If you are interested in trying this product, below is a link to the best price I could find. You could also do a Google search for "prosta support douglas labs" and perhaps you can find an even better price. You will find numerous suppliers so you can compare prices. I have no financial relationship with the company at the link below. Also, if after a few months the product is helping with your prostate problems you could also e-mail the various companies and see if you could get better pricing on purchasing more than a 30 day supply.
