Ultimate HGH

Ultimate HGH has been sold via TV infomercial for more than 5 years. It is marketed by a company known as Great American Products. Their battle cry is "grow 10 years younger in 10 weeks". They claim by taking their product you will receive the following benefits: increased strength, stamina and endurance, increased muscle growth and fat loss, improved sleeping, increase in libido and sexual stamina, hair regrowth and a lessening of gray hair, improved skin elasticity, stronger bones, increases in vision and hearing, lowering of blood pressure, increases in memory and cognitive abilities. In short, anything you could attribute to being younger.

The infomercial utilizes scientific studies done on human growth hormone (HGH) recipients to base their claims. What they fail to tell you is that these studies are all based upon the recipient using injectible HGH (only available by prescription not the non prescription product Ultimate HGH).

While it is true that you can see age reversing benefits from receiving injectable HGH it is far less clear you can receive these benefits from taking a natural product designed to increase your bodies production of HGH.

The product does contain 3 amino acids that have proven to increase HGH however this is only for a short period of time. Repeatedly taking these amino acids will result in the body quickly becoming immune to it, resulting in no increase in HGH production.

There is an excellent book on human growth hormone that is called "Stopping The Clock" by Ronald Klatz, M.D. It is sold on Amazon.com for only $3.80 (in used condition). If you are truly interested in reversing the aging process I would strongly suggest you start by reading this book. There are some relatively simple things one can do to dramatically elevate HGH production and these are all covered in the book.

The three amino acids that have been shown to increase HGH are L-lysine, L-arginine, L-glutamine. The rest of the ingredients in Ultimate HGH have absolutely nothing to do with increasing your bodies own production of the age reversing hormone. You can "cycle off" these amino acids and thereby maintain the benefits. By "cycling off" I mean you take them for a period of 3 weeks and then stop taking them for 1 week. Then start the cycle again. The dosage for the cycle is covered in the book I recommend. It would be significantly cheaper and more effective to try this approach rather than purchase Ultimate HGH.

I find it extremely interesting that the makers of Ultimate HGH never recommend cycling off their product. Not only is their product an overpriced amino acid supplement but they won't even tell you how to use their product effectively.

One final point about the product. It is recommended that you take it between meals for maximum benefit. As a result, the product can be a bit hard on a person with a sensitive stomach.
